Bardac Corporation was founded in 1992 in Reston, Virginia by a small team of controls and automation engineers, specializing in making industrial motor controls and smart process controllers. By the end of 1998, we had outgrown our premises there and needed a more orderly existence away from the traffic congestion and high rise development. So, we crossed the Chesapeake Bay andset up shop on Kent Island, Maryland. Our new home here in Stevensville is where we have continued to build a competitive, electronics equipment manufacturing business that leads the way toward Internet-accessible, intelligent industrial automation. 

 

Today, over 20 years later, we make a wide range of AC drives and DC drives from 0.1 up to 2000+ horsepower, drive.web smart process controllers that boast distributed control over Ethernet, industrial touch screens, and savvy software tools for device configuration, system design, and process control. Our products are used extensively in a variety of industries, including:
